Below is a simple step-by-step outline of what comes next in the appraisal process:
Payment
After we do a quick review of the property details, you'll receive a quote. Once the quote is approved, a secure payment link will be emailed to the payment contact listed on the order.
If you're a broker, please let your clients to check their email.
Once payment is received, the appraiser will reach out to the Access Contact to schedule the site visit.
Coordinating Access
The appraiser will coordinate directly with the access contact. For purchase appraisals, we’ll arrange access with the Listing Realtor.
Site Visit
The visit usually takes 20 to 60 minutes, depending on the size and layout of the property. The appraiser will take photos, gather measurements, and document key features.
They’ll need full access to every room, including basements, garages, and any outbuildings. If a room is locked or unavailable, a return visit may be required—and could result in additional fees.
Analysis & Report Delivery
After the visit, the appraiser reviews all collected data, local market trends, recent sales, and comparable listings to complete the report. The final report is emailed to the client who ordered the appraisal, typically within one to two business days of the site visit.
